The Guitar World According to Frank Zappa is a 1987 compilation album presenting guitar solos . It was distributed as a cassette from Guitar World magazine, and has also been accessible in bootlegged variations as Guitar Hernia and Solo on Guitar. The compilation has never been offered officially in other forms (compact discs, etc.), however the cassette has some exclusive material, including an unreleased guitar solo and an excerpt from an unreleased remix of "Revised Music for Guitar and Low-Budget Orchestra" from the Studio Tan album, presenting drum overdubs by Chad Wackerman.
