Zappa Plays Zappa have added a number of North American tour dates for early 2014. The band will get
going at MacEwan Hall in Calgary, AB on January 25 before making their way across Canada and then down through the Pacific Coast, Midwest an East Coasts of the United States over the next few months.In addition to playing the shows, Zappa Plays Zappa bandleader Dweezil Zappa will also be holding “Dweezilla” guitar masterclasses prior to most of the band’s 2014 performances. As previously reported, Zappa Plays Zappa are currently in the middle of a tour honoring the 40th anniversary of Frank Zappa’s famed Roxy & Elsewhere shows, which took place at The Roxy in Los Angeles in December of 1973. The band will commemorate the run with a special three-night run at the same venue on December 7-9.
